The Power of Effective Mentoring

Every company in which we invest has one or more volunteer mentors assigned to it. Our mentors are all members of our investor community. This post-investment follow-up is critical to our success and the impact of the BAM company.

The TSME mentoring program provides a significant on-ramp opportunity for investors who wish to be more involved in the TSME community by direct participation with a company in the portfolio. Mentors bring their experience, skills, encouragement, passion and prayer alongside these “boots on the ground” BAM practitioners.

We invest significant resources in training our mentors and tracking with them continuously for mutual learning and growth in excellence. In ideal circumstances, these volunteer mentors visit the company once or twice a year, at their own expenses, and engage regularly in between visits with the business owner, their family, and business colleagues.

Our portfolio companies agree in principle to receiving this mentoring prior to being funded and consistently report how great a blessing TSME mentoring has been to them personally and for their companies.
